THEMATIC UNIT OUTLINES

Thematic Unit Focus

"Money"

The following ideas could be implemented as individual lessons, or alternatively as an entire thematic unit.

Money is primarily a mathematical focus, however money is a large part of our consumer based world in the modern day and there are many aspects of currency that can be explored from early childhood discovering what money is and why we have it, to the complexities of the consumer and currency industries throughout the world for much older students.

If you've explored money in interesting ways in your curriculum planning, please send an e-mail to AusTeachers.
